What a kick-off! 🥳
On 27 April 2025 we launched the first activity for FRIST – Fourth Revolution in Sport Training project with an energising, in-person workshop right here in Budapest. Led by our facilitator Rodrigo Dudas, the day gathered 12+ forward-thinking coaches, club managers, and sport-sector creatives to dive deep into the next wave of digital transformation in sport organizations. 💻⚽

A glimpse of Day 1
Emerging tech, explained. From AI-driven performance analysis to fan-engagement platforms, participants explored the tools reshaping how clubs train, communicate and grow.
Hands-on strategy building. Teams worked on quick-fire canvases that mapped their current digital readiness and sketched first-step action plans.
Energy you could feel. Break-outs buzzed, ideas flew, and more than a few new cross-border collaborations were born. ✨

Why FRIST matters
Over the next 18 months, FRIST will guide sport organisations in five countries, Croatia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Slovenia and beyond—through a blended learning journey that closes the digital-skills gap, sparks innovation and keeps inclusion front and centre.
Key goals:
Build real-world digital capacity for coaches, administrators and volunteers.
Share best practice across borders so no club is left behind.
Champion accessibility, making sure every community, athlete and fan benefits from the revolution.
The road ahead ⏳
This Budapest meet-up was only the first milestone. Next up:
Virtual facilitation bootcamp – mastering online teamwork and fan engagement in September 16th.
Specialist labs on data analytics, digital marketing and e-safety.
In Person Conference in Zagreb, Croatia on the 13th and 14th of November.
Throughout the programme our consortium, grass-roots clubs, national associations, sport clubs and education partners, will keep sharing insights, templates and success stories you can adapt right away.
