Did you know that you can donate 1% of your Hungarian taxes to charitable causes?
In Hungary, everyone who earned taxable income in the previous year is eligible to make this donation. The best part is, that it doesn’t cost you anything but allows you to make a huge difference! You can donate your 1% while filling out your yearly tax returns till May 20th, 2026. Your donation will remain anonymous by default unless you wish otherwise. Why should you donate your 1% income tax to BAIS?
By donating 1% of your personal income tax, you help us continue creating meaningful experiences and expanding our impact. Your support allows us to organize more free events and team-building activities, give more volunteers the opportunity to travel abroad for free, and build safe, inclusive communities for both internationals and Hungarians - through the power of sport.
We are a volunteer-run NGO with the mission of promoting physical activity, healthy lifestyle, intercultural understanding, tolerance, solidarity, and active citizenship through sports.
From eco-friendly hikes and running groups to salsa dancing and kayaking, we create fun, inclusive activities that bring people together and build a strong sense of community.
Beyond local events, we also organize international youth exchanges and training courses through Erasmus+, giving young people the opportunity to learn, develop, and connect across borders.
What we achieved last year:
300+ events organized, reaching more than 10,000 people.
20+ international projects, providing hundreds of young people with the opportunity to travel abroad and learn free of charge.
350+ hikers brought together across 7 community hikes.

Search for our name in the "Search for civil beneficiary" (Civil kezdeményezett keresése) section: Budapesti Egyesület a Nemzetközi Sportért.

Don't forget to submit your declaration until May 20th , 2026.
If you would prefer to handle your declaration on paper, you need to complete the form 25EGYSZA and send it by post to the tax authority (NAV), or submit it in a sealed envelope to your employer by May 10th, 2026.
