A Week With AI: An Erasmus+ Adventure in Poronin

Between 2 and 9 November 2025, participants took part in the youth exchange “AI — How It Works?” in Poronin. The exchange brought together a group of 40 young people from Poland, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, and Hungary.


During the youth exchange, participants explored various topics related to artificial intelligence by completing the following activities:
creating an e-book called “AI — How It Works?”, which contains information about the development and potential applications of AI;
carrying out an “AI — How It Works?” happening, whose main goal was to draw the attention of the local Podhale community to:
what AI is,
the opportunities and risks arising from the development of AI,
practical uses of AI in education and the workplace,
the principles of participation in the Erasmus+ programme and youth exchanges,
the results and achievements of our project,
the countries participants come from;
taking part in the debate “AI is an opportunity humanity cannot afford to waste”;
learning about comments made on AI by some of its most important creators, including Geoffrey Hinton, Wojciech Zaremba, and Jakub Wiśnik;
learning to use AI tools in practice, such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot;
developing maps of the opportunities and risks related to AI;
creating multimedia presentations on:
the history of AI,
the most important AI pioneers,
the key discoveries in the field of AI,
ChatGPT,
Google Gemini,
Microsoft Copilot.
