BAIS is based on volunteers. We are united in being active, sporty, multinational and open-minded personalities. We strongly believe that active young people can bring social change through the power of sport. We also consider sport as great a tool to promote sustainability, active citizenship, mutual understanding, tolerance, and democracy. "One of the main challenges in life is to find oneself. It came easily to me because I was raised in a way that allowed me to discover my passions. Sports is definitely one of them. Whenever I bring people together, whether they're friends or just a group of strangers from around the world, and we start playing volleyball, I feel like I'm home. My time at BAIS allowed me to meet like-minded individuals, and meeting them opened many doors in life that contributed to who I am. My goal is to encourage others to step out of their comfort zones and open those doors."

I can’t imagine my life without sport. I have been playing it since I was six years old. My goal in BAIS and in life to show people that sports do matter and it gives you so much to your life you can’t even imagine. I study International relations, and BAIS gives me the poosibility to make contacts, friends all over the word. During my time here I wanna do my best!
