POWER
About the POWER Project
The POWER Project, short for "The Portrayal of Women Athletes in Sports Media," is a transformative initiative funded under the Erasmus+ Sport 2024 framework. This collaborative effort, involving six partner organizations across the EU, aims to challenge and change the way women athletes are represented in the media. Over the course of 24 months, the project seeks to promote gender equality and inclusivity in sports media while dismantling harmful stereotypes that hinder progress.
At BAIS, we are proud to contribute our expertise in fostering gender equality and inclusive sports practices, aligning with our commitment to using sports as a platform for social change.

Our Role in the Project
As a partner in the POWER Project, BAIS brings a wealth of experience in promoting inclusivity and gender equality through sports. Our previous initiatives, such as the LeaderSHE and OneGoal projects, have empowered young women to take leadership roles in sports and beyond. Through POWER, we aim to expand this impact by contributing to research, conducting training sessions, and amplifying awareness campaigns that celebrate and support women athletes.
